“I am Dr. Yaw Ansong Jnr, a social entrepreneur. I believe in the power of entrepreneurship and its ability to be leveraged as a tool to drive positive change around the world. Having auto didactically learnt programing; I, along with my triplet brother, started our first internet company at the age of 12. This company went on to become one of Africa’s largest ‘freeware’ and ‘shareware’ companies (by user numbers) at the time. Having won several 5 stars awards and award nominations, our software was used and downloaded by over 150K people, with users spanning across the globe, from the USA through to countries in the southwestern pacific ocean. Our users ranged from sole proprietors, to staff at multimillion dollar companies and Fortune 500 companies such as Google, Inc. Though most of the products were free and hobbyist, I made my first few bucks online through ads by age 15. Discontinuing this hobbyist project, I entered medical school at 16yrs and graduated as one of the youngest medical doctors ever in my country at age 22. I am currently the founder and CEO of LoveRealm, a Christian social network with team members spanning from Silicon Valley through to Belgrade.”
