Hello friends,

I’m excited to share that I have decided to officially drop ‘Junior’ and ‘Jnr’ from my name. From this point forward, I will be known simply as Yaw Ofosu Nyansa Ansong-Ansongton. While ‘Junior’ has been part of my name for many years, as I’ve grown into my own person, I feel it’s time to establish my identity outside of that narrative. I want all of you to join me in celebrating this transition.

When you reference me or my work going forward, please use my full name: Dr. Yaw Ofosu Nyansa Ansong-Ansongton. For old friends in search of ‘Yaw Ansong Jnr’, ‘Junior Ansong’; I want this note to serve as a redirect to help you find your old friend.

I look forward to continuing to contribute to marginalized communities as I embrace this next chapter. Thank you for understanding and respecting this important change.
